A little bit about Me… since you asked?!!

Honestly? I’m certainly not the star of the show here you are.

As far as I’m concerned - it’s your story, your way and I’m simply the lucky one who gets to tell it in a way that feels true, personal and heartfelt for you.

But if you’re really that curious…

I’m Sarah. A Mum of two and a fully trained Professional Celebrant.

I aim to bring a blend of warmth, humour and an eye for detail, creating ceremonies that are heartfelt, full of love, laughter, and the kind of moments that make people say,

“oh my goodness - that was so us!” or “you captured them so beautifully…”.

Where YOU'LL FIND ME!

Based in Essex, I write and deliver heartfelt, bespoke ceremonies tailored especially for you. I work around the South East of England including, Essex, London, and Kent, but of course, I am more than prepared to travel further afield!

My own personal Celebrancy journey began when I prepared and read a eulogy at my father’s funeral.

To say it was nerve-racking is an understatement, but from that moment on, I think I knew that this was the career for me…it was just about the timing!

Since launching my Celebrant business in 2021

I have had the privilege of working with many couples and families. I feel so blessed to be involved in a career that I am so incredibly passionate about.

Although based in Essex, predominantly covering both London and Essex areas

I am more than happy to travel anywhere you need me to!

I work closely with you, supporting you every step of the way to ensure that your celebration is just how you wish it to be, helping with suggestions that maybe you haven’t even considered yet!

My background is actually in the legal sector

Having worked for many years for various firms of solicitors, both in the City of London and in Tunbridge Wells.

But I always knew that I had a passion to do something more creative, previously enjoying making wedding invitations, crafting and even singing at open mic nights!

I think if you asked my family and friends to describe me

They’d probably say I’m warm, friendly, thoughtful - and usually good for a laugh (well I hope they would!). I care deeply about people, and that shows in my work. I’m kind, professional and always have the couples and families I work with at heart.

Sarah ensured our wedding ceremony was perfect from start to finish. She had many ideas and ways to incorporate everything we wanted on our special day. Sarah is personable, friendly and all in all a really lovely, warm person to be around and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to officiate our wedding. She wrote the most beautiful ceremony and included some really personal touches. We cannot thank Sarah enough for making our special day even more special and memorable. Thank you again!!! xx

Sarah was kind, compassionate and so helpful through a difficult time. Sarah delivered a beautiful service which captured my stepdad perfectly. Would thoroughly recommend her.

Sarah was the celebrant for my Mum's funeral, Sarah came to my house and asked to see photos of Mum so she had an understanding of the woman she was. Sarah honestly put me at ease and dealt wonderfully with the fact myself and my brother both live a huge distance apart, but she took the time to speak to each of us to find out snippets of Mums life. She was there on the phone to support with any questions. The service was beautiful and so many people commented how lovely the service was. Thank you again for guiding me through the whole process. I would recommend her to anyone who wants that personal touch.

Sarah was great. She came to our house took the time to take all the details of my Mum's story and presented it so beautifully you would believe she had met her.

Sarah came to the house when my husband had passed away. She put us all at ease as soon as we met her. We spoke about Roger, his life and what he meant to us. Sarah discussed everything with us and the funeral went smoothly and with love. We will never forget how at ease she made us feel. A sad but beautiful day ❤️

Sarah, your caring and empathy towards my family was exceptional. Between yourself and Bennetts Funeral Directors you made the process so easy and it was delivered perfectly on the day. I'm sure it was your singing voice that made Jerusalem how it should be heard .

Sarah spoke with such warmth and kindness, truly capturing the essence of my late mother. Her words were heartfelt and beautifully delivered, making the ceremony a fitting tribute. I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a celebrant they can trust with their loved one's ceremony.
